Moving out of CA Please help us figure out where?

My fiancee and I are considering moving out of California. We currently live in the bay area. We would like to find a place with four seasons and small town values. But being born and raised Californians we need a more liberal state of mind. We have been considering the New England area. Any suggestions as to where we should look.

Good public schools


Beautiful scenery


Lots of outdoorsy things to do


and a safe ';community'; like feeling

Montana. Housing is affordable. Food is high. small town low crime good schools Bring you own job or catch as catch can.


Wyoming Housing is still affordable in smaller towns


North and South Dakota . Big houses small prices.*5 bedroom brick home for $65K) Few jobs, BUT if you can stick with it, you can build up a business. You have to be tough. and resourceful, No wimps, no whining. You have to have balls.
