How many people can fit in a bar that is about 5000 sq.ft. and how would you figure it out?

Just estimations (smart estimations) are O.K. Please show me how you would figure it out, too.How many people can fit in a bar that is about 5000 sq.ft. and how would you figure it out?
The Universal Building Code is the standard code in most places in the U.S.. You have to check the code for your local jurisdiction, but in general the code considers a bar as an assembly space. An assembly space (on the ground floor only) uses 15sq. ft. per person as the rule which means if the actual bar space is 5000 sq. ft. then the # of people you can have is 333 people. However, the bathrooms should not be counted as well as other accessory or storage spaces in the bar.How many people can fit in a bar that is about 5000 sq.ft. and how would you figure it out?
You don't figure it out, your local haelth department does. It doesn't depend only on sq.ft., but on type of facility, amount of tables and chairs ...
first you need to define FIT.you should think of how much space a person needs.in a kinda crowded night i think 4 or 5 square feet is about right.then you divide the whole area to the number of square feet given to each person.for example, a 5000 sqf bar probably has 4000 sqf space for customers.4000 divided by 4 equals 1000.so you get around a thousand people in a bar of that size.(thats a lot!!!)

and also the number of chairs and tables and the amount of food served and stuff like that is really important too cause people arent just gonna stand in one place and then go home!
