The fact that you have a UK cell phone does not matter when dialing out to another country - it will be just like dialing from a Japanese phone.





To call the US from Japan you will dial: 010 + 1 + 3 digit US area code + 7 digit tel. number.





Now, for someone to call you from the US or any other country except the UK they will need to dial your UK number with international codes. From the US it is: 011 + 44 + 7xxx xxx xxx. From the UK no international codes are required to reach your UK cell: 07xxx xxx xxx.
