Im a senior and my class is trying to figure out fundraising ideas to raise money.?

we really dont have that much money and it makes it a little hard when parents dont want to participate. we are the first generation of early college high school students to graduate in our district so its a big deal for all of us. anyone have any brilliant ideas? thanks!Im a senior and my class is trying to figure out fundraising ideas to raise money.?
I have a few ideas for you, you can do...

- Bake sale

- Car wash

- Drive-in movie theater (get a large enough projector and aim it to a solid surface, maybe the side or back of your school building, charge $5 Per Person)

- A raffle, get local %26amp; national companies to sponsor you by giving away products...

- Sell candy

- Call up alumnis from your school and solicit them... phonathon

Also, try googling fundraising ideas for high schoolers.

Good Luck!Im a senior and my class is trying to figure out fundraising ideas to raise money.?
Hi Cristy. You do know that this is the Senior Citizens section, right? So we all did bake sales, car washes, that kind of stuff. Another idea that I have seen work well, is if anyone still has a polaroid camera, take lots of candid pics of kids, teachers etc and put them all out on a table for 3 or 5$ each.

This works the best with polaroid film because some people will pay anything to buy up the original copy or the ';evidence';, might not be so profitable when people know you can go back to your computer and print off another copy any time.
If money is a factor for your area, try Champions Card. It's a discount card that helps people save on almost everything--not just shopping and eating out, but things like car repair and haircuts. It works all over the country, so you can sell it to grandparents, etc.

You don't have to pay up front, plus you get $10 per sale, so you can make good money. The best part is that it's easy to sell, since people will save more than they pay you by using the card. I know of lots of high schools that use it every year for their fundraiser.
We did raffles. We put together baskets with donated items. One was a football themed basket with items relating to a football game including tickets, another was a spa basket again it included a spa day,one was a gourmet kitchen basket and another was a movie themed basket. WE sold the tickets for $1.00 which most people can afford. One year we raffled off things like a shotgun,a bicycle, and some video game that was expensive. We sold tickets at grocery stores and ball games.I don't know where you live but here in Oklahoma FFA kids sell Blue and Gold Sausage and they make a killing. It is good and I think B%26amp;G have a website. They ship too. Just a few ideas.Good luck
Plan a BBQ - burgers %26amp; hot dogs event - with an auction of services provided by you the students to the highest bidder. Invite all the parents %26amp; friends - every senior needs to participate to make it work . It worked for my grand daughter's swim team.
You could hold a 50%26amp; 60 carnival bring the older people together use can play their type music and dress the way they did sell a cup of coffee and a ice cream cone to anyone over 55 for a nickle but have a donation can where they can see it.

Ask you mom and dad what they miss about there growing up.
It's amazing that Jim has allowed this to go through as we are a senior citizen site and this is about seniors in high school.
there are candy bars, pizza hut has a school fundraiser there are the discount cards too those are the 3 main things our school district does
how about balloons?
Hello,

Book sales may be a fund raising event of interest to you. The money can be used for club purposes and or donated to a literacy organization.

All across the nation, many organizations hold book sales that feature cheap books that were either donated or removed from circulation of a library. Typically these sales sell books, CDs, magazines, and DvD's for rock bottom prices. This type of fundraiser helps generate much needed funds while promoting literacy in the community.

One resource I have found online that gives a good overview on how to run one.

Being charity organizations, these nonprofit organizations often have limited resources to advertise and promote their sales. As such, many people are never made aware of the excellent deals they are missing within their own communities. That's where http://www.booksalemanager.com comes ins. We are attempting to bridge the gap between Organizations looking to more effectively advertise their sale, and people looking to find more places to get good deals on books and media.

Organizations and other non-profit groups can freely advertise their sale on our site. People looking to find sales can use our powerful search tools to find these sales. They can search by state, zip code, sale size, and date ranged.

Furthermore, people can create an account and save sales to their calendar to help them better track the sales they want to go to. Accounts also allow users to be notified if a new sale is listed in their area and send notifications to remind them of an upcoming sale. All these features help increase sales for the organization and promote a successful sale.

I believe book sales are a great way to find bargain books and media while at the same time supporting the local organizations we all know and love. It's a total win-win.

Thank you for your time and if you have any other questions, please let me know.

Jessica
