peace♥What is the most inspirational saying of a religious figure to you?
';Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.

Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.';

“But the average person doesn't have that much imagination. They just want to be entertained. They want to have the tableau presented for them. They don't want to participate beyond a certain point. They want the safety of the herd, to be catered to, sit back and enjoy.” - Anton LaVey.

“People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.”

“Knowledge is a weapon. I intend to be formidably armed.”

- Terry Goodkind (Author)
';Faith is a device of self-delusion, a sleight of hand done with words and emotions founded on any irrational notion that can be dreamed up. Faith is the attempt to coerce truth to surrender to whim. In simple terms, it is trying to breathe life into a lie by trying to outshine reality with the beauty of wishes. Faith is the refuge of fools, the ignorant, and the deluded, not of thinking, rational men.';
Rabbi Hillel was asked by someone trying to mock him, to teach all the wisdom of the Torah while standing on one foot. Rabbi Hillel stood on one foot and said, ';What is hateful to yourself, do not do to others; that is the whole of Torah, everything else is commentary on that, go and study it.';

PS every single name on your list offered some version of the Golden Rule. I only pulled out the Hillel version because it includes single foot standing.
Confucius say: ';Crowded elevator smell different to midget!'; lol.
Aho mitakuye oyasin.....we are all related....Lakota...
';Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest';: Jesus Christ
Jesus- ';I ye love me, keep my commandments'; and ';Come follow me';
';We must become the changes we want to see.';
