I travel and don't stay in one place when i spin and i get dizzy + other figure skating questions?

Is there a way to stop traveling so much when i spin?

Is there a way to stop dizzyness?

What are some graceful hand positions for a scratch spin?

What are some other spins that i can do if i can do a scratch spin?I travel and don't stay in one place when i spin and i get dizzy + other figure skating questions?
Ok there are a few different ways to fix this. I bought something called a spinner. This way i can practice all the time in the middle of my living room. It is a small metal circle that simulates real spins just like you were on the ice. It worked for me!!!

Next a way to stop dizzyness can be to kinda glaze your eyes over in the middle of the spin, or you can think hard about what you are doing instead of the dizzy part.

Hmmm for the hand positions, you can do a ballerina type, with both hands in high fifth. You can also work on the headless spin which is simply putting you head all the way back, but at the same time clentch your fists in front of your neck. It looks cool. You can create whatever moves you wish.

After scratch spin you can work on your sit spin, layback, backspin, camel, backsit spin,

When you spin pull your arms in really tight and keep yourself centered to stop from traveling. To stop from getting dizzy when you stop stare at one thing and dont change your gaze until they feeling of dizziess passes that usually helps me. If you are just starting a scratch spin then keep the hands simple but if you are advanced just try different poses like above your head and stuff. If you can do a scratch spin then a sit spin isn't too far off. Its a scratch spin but you just squat down and keep your legs tight together. Good Luck!
to stop traveling, move your leading arm all the way past you going into your edge.

just keep spinning a lot. or try spotting
To center your spin, make sure you take your time going into it. Make sure your entrance is on a circle/edge. When you get into the opening spin position, keep your skating leg slightly bent, hold the opening position until you get your balance, then slowly pull your free leg in (arms should be pulled in at a slower rate to accelerate the spin speed).

You can clasp your hands together and pull them over your head for a nice variation in hand positions.
Fasten your look to one thing when you spin stare at it as long as possible then whip your head around and do what I said again. That should help. The other things you need your coach to help you with.
