How do you figure out the math problem sin-1 1?

Ok I have a trigonometry math problem that i cant get, its sin-1 (-1 is in the same place as an exponent would be) 1, so its sin-1 1 and i just don't get it! help!

It will show the problem in this link:

Okay, that means inverse sin (1), or what value

of x such that sin(x) = 1.

And x=90.

So, inverse sin(1) = 90.

SO, i guess it means 90 degrees.
