Why is Albert Einstein such an important historical figure?

Why is Albert Einstein such an important historical figure?
Einstein basically rewrote physics. He showed there is a direct relationship between matter and energy, and created a new model for gravity and its relationship to space-time. He also helped create the atomic bomb (and by extension, nuclear power). To be fair, the Allies were worried that the Germans would invent the atomic bomb, which is why they began their own program.Why is Albert Einstein such an important historical figure?
He ironically gave us so much in science with his working theories, while taking so much back by personally leading us to the creation of nuclear weapons.
because he is the father of the atomic and the lazer science
His incredible hair thats why! Also he was smarter than most of you.
e=mc squared!
