How do you figure out what position on piano to play on?

You know how on sheet music it tells you the notes?

Well, how do you know where to play them on?

Like position wise. let's say this song had a C in it.

There is a C in every position.

How do you tell the difference? How do you figure out what position on piano to play on?
usually the middle c will be here :

_______________

_______________

_______________

_______________

_______________

-O-

The second C as you go to your right (an octave above)will be here

_____________________

_____________________

________|0___________

________|____________

________|____________

and the third C (again another octave above)is here as you go up again

-|0-

-|---

If you know the position of it on your instrument, and you know what is AN OCTAVE ABOVE, you will know what i'm talking about. Sorry not shouting just emphasising An Octave AboveHow do you figure out what position on piano to play on?
i think on the left side it starts c and then you go up till u hit g the black keys going up there flats and the key that you last used or whatever its the same letter just flat and going down its the same but there sharp
I Think it's up to u to think which is better.

Usually depends which hand u r using.

Right for melody

Left for chords
